I Sense the Force is Strong with this One

And yes his name is Luke. Part of the fun of parenthood is seeing the dramatic personality differences in my boys. Big brother is an easy going, charmer with a pretty even temperament. Not so with this little guy. Luke is not yet 2 yrs old and already has the ability to impose his will on big brother. Luke is independent and fearless, and well, who can resist that smile? This one may be a challenge.

A Historic First

Here is my eldest, Daniel Fisher Overton, winning an epic battle with a ferocious blue gill. This was his first fish and he mercifully decided to let the little guy return to his family. There really is nothing quite like being a dad. Whenever I see this pic, I still smile like I did the moment he yelled," I gotta fish!" Good stuff, Good stuff.
